Product Description:
Algetten (12 Tablets) are convenient long-term tablets for the effective control of algae in small freshwater aquariums up to 40 litres. The active ingredient is released evenly over a period of up to four weeks, reliably inhibiting the growth of various types of algae.
The tablets act directly on the metabolism of the algae without discolouring the aquarium water. When used as directed, Algetten are gentle on fish, aquatic plants and beneficial microorganisms and help maintain a stable biological balance in the aquarium.
Application is simple: place one tablet in an area of the aquarium with good water circulation. For optimal results, ensure adequate oxygenation during treatment and regularly remove dead algae. Switch off the UV clarifier, avoid filtration with activated carbon and do not perform water changes during treatment.
For long-term prevention of new algae growth, it is also recommended to monitor and reduce excess nutrients such as nitrate and phosphate in the aquarium water.
