Product Description:
Algizit (10 Tablets) is a highly effective treatment for quickly combating even stubborn algae problems in freshwater aquariums. The fast-dissolving tablets release the active ingredient immediately upon contact with water and specifically target the metabolism of the algae.
The product works reliably against various types of algae, including green algae, brown algae and red algae, as well as difficult-to-control brush and beard algae. The aquarium water remains clear, as Algizit neither discolours nor clouds the water.
When used as directed, Algizit is gentle on fish, aquatic plants and beneficial microorganisms. Its simple application allows targeted treatment directly in the aquarium. During treatment, activated carbon filtration, UV clarification and water changes should be avoided. Good oxygenation and the regular removal of dead algae are also recommended to help maintain stable water quality.
For long-term prevention of recurring algae problems, it is also recommended to monitor and reduce excess nutrients such as nitrate and phosphate in the aquarium water.
