Product Description:
AlgoFin is an effective treatment specifically designed to combat the most common types of algae in garden ponds. The special active ingredient is selectively absorbed by the algae and inhibits their photosynthesis, reliably eliminating string algae, floating algae and slime algae within two to three weeks.
At the same time, AlgoFin helps prevent renewed algae growth over the long term, thereby supporting a healthy biological balance in the pond. When used as directed, the product is suitable for fish, aquatic plants and microorganisms.
For optimal results, the liquid should be distributed evenly throughout the pond. Dead algae should be removed as thoroughly as possible before and after treatment, as they can adversely affect water quality. Adequate oxygenation should also be ensured during treatment.
Important:
- Do not use UV clarifiers or activated carbon filters for at least seven days during treatment.
- Do not perform water changes for four weeks.
- In cases of severe algae growth, the treatment can be repeated after four weeks at half the dosage.
For long-term prevention of algae growth, regular monitoring of water parameters and the reduction of excess nutrients in the pond water are recommended.
