Aqua Rebell Makro Basic Nitrat is a targeted nitrogen fertilizer designed for aquariums where nitrate levels are low due to minimal fish load or intense lighting. By combining nitrate and potassium, it supplies aquatic plants with two vital macronutrients that are essential for strong growth and rich, vibrant colors.
This fertilizer is formulated to avoid excess nutrient accumulation. If nitrate levels rise too high, simply reduce the dosage accordingly. To maintain optimal conditions, weekly water changes of 25–50% are recommended.
Makro Basic Nitrat is suitable for both daily dosing and pulse dosing after water changes, helping to maintain nitrate levels in the ideal range of 10–20 mg/l. This ensures a stable and plant-friendly nutrient balance.
For a complete and balanced fertilization strategy, it is recommended to combine this product with other single fertilizers from the Aqua Rebell Makro series or with a micronutrient fertilizer (such as a complete iron fertilizer).
