Product Description:
The Driftwood Root Mix (8–10?kg) contains a diverse selection of gnarled, branched wood pieces from various regions around the world, including some mangrove wood. Each piece adds natural structure and character to your aquarium, making it perfect for aquascapes or biotope-style layouts. While some wood types (e.g. mangrove) sink immediately, others may need to be soaked or weighted down before being placed in the tank. Initial water discoloration caused by tannins is normal and can be managed with frequent water changes and activated carbon in the filter. Any biofilm that forms is harmless and often consumed by shrimp and small catfish. This mix offers a wide range of layout options and transforms any aquarium into a natural, vibrant underwater environment.
