Product Description:
PEARLMAX BIO is a next-generation biologically active filter media made of high-quality sintered glass with a specially developed multi-layered cavity structure. It actively adsorbs ammonium (NH4?) and nitrite ions (NO2?) while simultaneously supporting nitrification, denitrification, and mineralization in your aquarium.
By slowly releasing essential trace elements, PEARLMAX BIO enhances metabolic processes and promotes the overall well-being of your aquarium inhabitants. Being chemically neutral, it does not affect pH, carbonate hardness (KH), or general hardness (GH), making it suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums.
For maintenance, simply rinse the media in aquarium water; partial replacement of about 50% every 4–6 months ensures long-term optimal filtration performance.
