Product Description:
The DEKOR Filter Sponge is the suitable replacement filter media for AQUAEL DEKOR pond filters and provides reliable mechanical and biological filtration of pond water. Its special sponge structure effectively traps dirt particles while providing a large surface area for beneficial nitrifying bacteria to colonise. These bacteria support the natural breakdown of harmful substances and help maintain consistently high water quality.
The open-pore, irregular surface structure ensures an even flow of water and makes optimal use of the entire filter media. This reliably removes dirt particles while creating ideal conditions for biological filtration.
The filter sponge is quick and easy to replace and is specially designed for AQUAEL DEKOR pond filters. To maintain consistently high filtration performance, replacement is recommended after no more than two pond seasons.
