Product Description:

The PAT Mini filter sponge by AQUAEL is specially designed to meet the needs of baby shrimp and other delicate small aquarium inhabitants. With its particularly high density, this filter sponge offers maximum protection and prevents young and tiny animals from being sucked into the filter.

Made from phenol-free materials, the sponge ensures a safe environment without harmful chemicals, making it ideal for sensitive ecosystems. The fine pores of the sponge effectively trap particles and suspended matter from the water, providing efficient mechanical filtration. In addition, the sponge offers an ideal surface for the colonization of nitrifying bacteria, which are essential for biological filtration and maintaining healthy water conditions in the aquarium.

To ensure optimal filter performance, it is recommended to replace the filter sponges regularly. The sponge should be gently cleaned in aquarium water taken during a water change to preserve the beneficial bacteria.

Perfect for aquarists seeking a safe and efficient filtration system tailored to breeding and caring for shrimp and other small creatures. The PAT Mini filter sponge not only provides protection but also excellent support for water quality in your shrimp or nano aquarium.
