Product Description:
Dupla Ground Colour Black Star is the perfect substrate for freshwater aquariums. With its rounded grain size of 1–2 mm, it provides excellent anchoring for aquatic plants and promotes even nutrient and oxygen circulation throughout the substrate. When used in combination with Dupla Depot Mix active, it supports vigorous and healthy plant growth.
The gravel is gentle on the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling species, completely non-toxic, and does not affect pH or water chemistry. Its deep black, neutral color also creates a striking visual contrast to plants and fish, enhancing the aesthetic of your aquarium.
Tip:
For a 5 cm deep gravel layer, use the following calculation:
Aquarium length (cm) × width (cm) ÷ 140 = required kg of gravel
Rinse thoroughly with cold water before use.
