Product Description:
The Igloo by Ceramic Nature is a handcrafted ceramic hideout made from high-quality, eco-friendly materials – perfect for use in both aquariums and terrariums. With its naturalistic tree-trunk texture, it blends seamlessly into underwater or terrestrial environments, offering a safe retreat for fish such as cichlids, corydoras, loaches, and also for reptiles and amphibians like frogs or geckos.
Its porous ceramic surface acts as a biological filter by hosting beneficial bacteria that support water quality. In terrariums, the material helps retain heat and humidity, making it an excellent moist or warm cave.
Thanks to its timeless design, the igloo can be easily planted with mosses like Java moss or epiphyte plants such as Anubias. Simply attach them using aquarium-safe glue or thread – the plants will soon root firmly into place.
