The enhanced formula includes increased levels of vital long-stem fiber from grass and hay, perfectly suited to the dietary needs of large tortoise species such as Sulcatas, Leopards, Desert Tortoises, and other giant tortoises (e.g., Galápagos and Aldabra tortoises). For hatchlings and smaller species, we recommend Grassland Tortoise Crumbles.
This food is carefully formulated for all life stages to replicate the natural high-fiber, low-protein diet of grassland tortoises. It includes coarsely ground timothy hay, miscanthus grass, and alfalfa to supply crucial long-stem fibers. Cold-press pelleting helps retain the integrity of these fibers. With fresh ingredients like endive, escarole, and dandelion greens for enhanced palatability.
