Product Description:
JUWEL Phorax is a highly efficient filter medium for reducing phosphate in your aquarium. It effectively curbs algae growth and can significantly contribute to improved plant development. Phorax is composed of an aluminum mineral that binds dissolved phosphate by forming water-insoluble aluminum phosphate, thereby removing it from the water. As a result, JUWEL Phorax is highly effective, binding up to 12 mg of phosphate per gram. It reduces phosphate, inhibits algae growth, promotes plant health, and is suitable for both freshwater and marine use.
