The ReptiSun® 5.0 UVB T8 is the classic choice for reliable baseline UVB supply for diurnal reptiles and amphibians. With 5% UVB output, it supports natural vitamin D3 production in the skin — essential for proper calcium metabolism, strong bones, and long-term vitality. It also helps prevent or improve common deficiency-related conditions such as metabolic bone disease (MBD).
This T8 tube provides a consistent UVB output and is especially effective when mounted at a distance of up to 30 cm. Ideal for species such as turtles, bearded dragons, iguanas, and other tropical day-active reptiles.
