Product Description:
Papillon Special Parrot Sand is specially designed to provide hygienic flooring for parrot and large parakeet cages and aviaries. This specialty sand is made from pure quartz without any chemical additives and offers high mineralogical purity. The grains are rounded, providing a smooth surface without sharp edges. The included siliceous slate supports digestion by aiding in the grinding of grain-based food in the bird’s stomach.
The fresh, subtle scent is achieved through the addition of anise, making the sand pleasant for both humans and animals. With a high degree of whiteness, the sand brightens the cage and creates a natural, inviting environment. The parrot sand is available in a grain size of 0.2 to 2.0 mm and comes in a convenient 5 kg bag.
